Cloth made by hand, clothes made to last
We work with weaving families who make cotton, linen and silk on hand looms, a few metres a day.

It began with one length of rust cotton and a tailor who could cut it well. We still choose every bolt by hand and sew in small batches.

From the loom
Slow by design
A hand loom is slower than a machine, and that is the point: the cloth breathes, drapes and softens in a way no factory roll can. We pay our weavers fairly and in advance, so they can keep the craft alive.
